This post is a bit out of place because I forgot to hit "post". Billy and I enjoyed our last few days in Houston and tried to soak up all the Texas flavor and friends we could.
We spent last Saturday night at Riley's 2nd birthday party. Most of Billy's friends were at the party so it was a great way to see everyone and their kids. Kelly, Riley's mom, made a great Elmo birthday cake.

Sunday we watched the Super Bowl at Paul's in Pearland. Billy, Pete, and Paul are all LSU graduates so they were over the moon when the Saints won.
Monday we had lunch and drinks with previous co-workers from Hanover. It was great to catch up, laugh, and talk about the industry.
After leaving our friends we had dinner and desert at our two favorite places in Houston. We had tacos at El Rey and gelato at Gelato Blu. Both places have yet to be topped in all our travels.
